I have specifically left the platform to take care of my mental state (the ones who know know).
What I noticed is that real-life socialising (even low-stakes one) helps a lot with it. Especially if you do meaningful work with others.
From what I have read from your comments, you have a bit of a black and white view on whether you need to focus on the grind or on being happy.
The thing is that you can only be productive if you are not feeling miserable, so I would say do both.
I am currently both working and studying; still, I have some time I spend with pals offline.
Don't make the website a substitute for real connection.

I realized I was being too sensitive. And I made a lot of stupid decisions motivated by panic and anxiety about helping someone. (and a specific medication)
Although I'm currently on hiatus from the site, I had some good times. After you left, I held an event on the site (you can see my Hunger Games ).

Just woke up today and suddenly ed about this site. This has practically become completely different than what I recall. No, I am just visiting; I have moved on in life. This site gave me memories unforgettable. Every face I see feels new. There's a slight tension, as if a slight movement might wreck this place. No, I was not a substantial , just a random nobody. It is unlikely that I will return one day.

So, it went well... I think...
We'd agreed on meeting in small grocery store parking lot just outside the town center. Of course we'd managed to park at opposite ends and couldn't find eachother at first.
After we figured that out and finally met, I introduced her to my dogs and we decided we'd do the special holiday season walking route/ lightshow thing, where they have a bunch of pretty lights and some kind of holographic projections set up at various parks throughout town.
So we walked, and we talked, and I showed her how to walk a dog properly because she doesn't have a dog, but she caught on pretty quickly.
That took about an hour and a half, after which she mentioned she was hungry so went and got some streetfood, which I was not allowed to pay for.
We sat down on a bench to eat and did some people watching, after which we decided to head back.
Back at the cars I put my dogs away first before walking her to her car, where we agreed on having had fun and that it was definitely up for repeat. After which we hugged and said our goodbyes.
All in all we spent about two and a half hours together.
It's a bit early to say I'm in love, but I can definitely see myself falling for her.
Tldr, second date is happening.
